2019, me and my friend Camz decided to visit Hong Kong. Of course this trip will not be possible without the help of my boss. Thank you so much.
Hong Kong is so amazing country. When I first step my foot in this country I thought maybe I could live here. (Hehehe but reality is still Philippines number one forever) What I really love in Hong Kong is their MTR. Its really fast and more convenient to use. Heres our expenses listed below:
1. Ticket - We use the Cathay Pacific Airlines for our roundtrip airline ticket. It cost not more than php13,000 estimated. Travel tax is not yet include.
2. Travel tax - php1,620
3. Hong Kong Tour Package - not more than php9,000 estimated. This includes:
* 3 nights hotel stay with buffet breakfast at 4 star hotel (Hotel CoZi Oasis) near MTR Kwai Hing station.
* Roundtrip airport-hotel transfer with tour guide.
* Whole day Disneyland ticket with roundtrip transfer hotel to disney to hotel.
* Night Tour at Madame Tussaud, Sky Terrace 428 and drop off at Ladies Night Market.
* Halfday City Tour with roundtrip transfer visit: Avenue of Stars/Aberdeen Fishing/Jewelry Shop/Souvenir Shop
Before, i worked for travel agency and this is most recommended for those people who wants to travel but no time to plan their trip. Also, most of the affordable hotel in Hong Kong does not include breakfast or sometimes its just a coupon worth hkd20. (ours have bufet breakfast included) buffet is perfect for us because at night we don't eat rice (nagtitipid na kasi kami lol)
This is our itinerary:
Day 1 - we arrive at 7am, yes we chose that flight because that is the cheapest. So what we did is we leave our things at the hotel. Walk around the vicinity look for food at 7Eleven and go to money changer.
2pm we check in already and rest a little bit and eat. Food is from 7Eleven worth hkd23 or php150 estimated. Its kind of expensive but guys, trust me. We ate and leave the other half at the hotel and eat it after the tour for dinner.
4pm the tour guide meet us at the lobby for our night tour. Then after they drop us at the market. They leave us there and find ourselves how to go home. Its very exciting because its our first time to ride MTR.
I bought 17pcs of Hong Kong Tshirt for my friends and family. hkd100 or php650 estimated for 5 pcs. I bought 15pcs Tshirt and got 2 free tshirt. Thats what I request and they gladly give it to me.
I also bought souvenir bag 4 pcs. It cost hkd50 or php300 estimated for 2.
Day 2 - We ate our buffet breakfast and the tour guide waited us at the hotel lobby to start the Disneyland tour. Lunch and dinner are provided by our kind boss (Thank you!)
Day 3 - Breakfast again around 7am and the tour guide waited us again for our guided city tour. I enjoy listening to our guide. he is funny and very informative. He share a lot of stories even if its not related to the tour. Around 12nn they drop us at the Tsim Sha Tsui. We walk around the area and ask for the nearest MTR station. Of course we also take a picture of the streets.
Day 4 - Its time to pack up and get back to reality.
Ending: I wrote this during pandemic out of boredom, This is my very first out of country travel and it felt good sharing this experience here. I hope, somehow you can get an idea if you're planning to go to Hong Kong <3
